Clients, do you know how to book your salon apt for the results you want? What are your paying for when you book a “partial” VS “half head“?

The client on the LEFT is what I would consider to be a “partial” or “Mohawk” (Good for freshening up color in the partings of the hair)

The client on the RIGHT, I'd put into the “half head” category because it’s way more extensive and detailed. (Good for much lighter uniform color)
What is the difference in cost? In my opinion - about $50 and 20 additional minutes of application time.

Colorists, are you doing twice the amount of work and not charging the difference? You can’t assume that your client knows you are hooking them up, and hope the tip reflects it????? I’ve certainly been guilty of this! Time to work smarter not harder!??‍?>??‍♀️

Don’t give away your work for free.? If a client wants a half head of foils.. don’t be afraid to ?CONSULT on the price difference. People respect transparency. Have the confidence to work out the numbers before you start your processes. ?Don’t ever lose sight of the fact that you are a licensed and skilled professional.
