Just announced––"But a Storm Is Blowing From Paradise" will travel to the Galleria d’Arte Moderna (@gam_milano) in Milan in April 2018. Recently acquired works by 13 artists explore intersecting themes of architecture, geometry, and history. After debuting at our museum last year, this new installation at @GAM_Milano converses with the building’s own architectural heritage and raises urgent issues of migration and displacement in areas around the world, including Italy. “Una Tempesta dal Paradiso” si terrà presso la Galleria d’Arte Moderna (@GAM_Milano) dall’11 aprile al 17 giugno 2018. Le opere di 13 artisti del Medio Oriente e Nord Africa entreranno negli spazi della @GAM_Milano: lavori su carta, installazioni, fotografie, sculture e video per esplorare temi trasversali legati a migrazione, architettura, geometria e storia. Dopo il debutto presso il Guggenheim lo scorso anno, l’esposizione ideata per GAM entrerà in comunicazione con l’edificio storico della Villa Reale e con le collezioni del museo facendo emergere i temi rilevanti della migrazione in diverse aree del mondo, inclusa l’Italia.
