Hugo Mejía was in a detention center for 6 months while special interest groups and politricians profited from his detention. Did you know that those who invest in private prisons including detention centers aka IMMIGRANT PRISONS profit from family separation and human lives in detention at rates of upwards of $120 per day for EACH bed they fill. The bail for these human lives is set at anywhere from $10,000 to $35,000 and if they can't pay the full bail they need to have an ankle bracelet that on top of the money owed they have to pay upward of $420 EACH month to keep this ankle bracelet on. All of this while they aren't expected to work, but let's charge them outrageous fees to deprive them of their freedom... .
