"I heard there's a party on Ningaloo Reef. Did I miss it?" - You sure did buddy, most of the whale sharks have gone home already! This fellow was spotted inside Ningaloo Reef on @australiascoralcoast just a few weeks ago, which is rather late in the season for these colossal creatures to be hanging around the coast of @westernaustralia. The #NingalooReef is the only place on the planet where large numbers of whale sharks are known to congregate so close to land; the best times of year to spot them is from April until August.
