What are we without nature is a project that was created with a deep desire to inspire others to create changes in our daily life so we may become the change we need for our world.
My objective is to invite the audience to live a more conscious lifestyle and to protect our Mother, our planet.
I have always been attracted to the contrast between virgin environments and urban growth. I have seen places grow in order, with vision, unique design, surrounded by positive projects and respect towards nature. However, I have also witnessed others suffer from corporate disease, political affiliation and greed. This opposition is not only interesting to me but also makes me conscious of the direction in which our planet is heading in a very high speed.
Photography is an excellent medium to spawn human consciousness.
My goal is to transform the view of the contrary relationship of humanity and nature. The objective of each photograph is to show one specific point of influence, either by nature or by man.
Although, urbanism is a work of exceptional human power and creation, if done irresponsibly it threatens the well being of nature and in consequence the very sustainability of us and the world we know...so...what are we without nature?
