Last night was a dream...I got to honor this incredible human for his astounding contribution to Music at the #kennedycenterhonors event. My heart was beating so fast up on that stage as I sang some of his most iconic songs. I was so excited to be in the presence of someone whose music runs through my veins. Growing up hearing Lionel Richie's timeless songs and now seeing him smiling and dancing as I performed them was a pinch myself moment that I will never forget. I came off stage and cried, it was a truly special night and I’ll remember it for the rest of my life. Thank you @ライオネル・リッチー for your gift to us and for continuing to touch hearts with your incredible passion and grace ??✨
