Inspired by traditional trench coats and gardeners’ utility-wear, this oversized cotton gabardine trench coat is pieced and panelled with patchwork jacquards of contrasting duchesse silk roses and garden blooms. Double-breasted, with ten front buttons, wide lapels, a storm flap and pockets that button-close, the coat is belted at the waist with buckled straps around the wrists to keep water from running down the forearm when using binoculars in the rain.
