Chase the stars with #GoProFusion Featured Photographer, @dr_brown. ?

Photo 1: It was a cold and clear evening at the Pigeon Point #Lighthouse on the central coast of #California. I knew this type of evening would be perfect for capturing the night sky, so I positioned my tripod on a deck overlooking the coast and set the Fusion to Night Lapse Mode with an ISO of 400 and a Shutter Speed of 30 seconds. I sat back, relaxed, and listened to the waves crashing on the rocks while the Fusion shot for 30 minutes. What an incredible evening! Later, I imported all of my photos into @photoshop as a single document with multiple layers. I then selected all of the layers and set the Photoshop Blend Mode to Lighten. This blended my exposures and created the star trails. Finally, I exported the file and composed the framing with GoPro’s Fusion Studio.

Photo 2: This shot was captured an a wonderfully clear day on the #GoldenGateBridge. I found a super interesting location where several of the cables connected to the bridge and used the GoPro App to trigger the Fusion in Single Photo Mode. I liked the contrast of the cables and the distant shoreline. The sun was super bright, so I set the EV Compensation to -1.0. This way, I can get detail from the brightest areas of the sky and clouds.

Photo 3: I was recently traveling in #NewYorkCity + got up super early one morning to walk the #BrooklynBridge. I had never been on the bridge before and was blown away by the number of cables. The light was fantastic and there were very few people around. It was literally, a picture-perfect moment! I stood in the middle of the path and held the Fusion high above my head to capture this wonderful moment. When I got home, I used Fusion Studio to adjust the Yaw, Pitch, and Roll of my image. The tools in Fusion Studio are critical to getting the horizon to be perfectly straight. I’m not sure how I lived without them in the past. I also like to use @adobe’s Camera Raw editing tools on my Fusion images to make all the final tone and exposure adjustments.
