1:30 AM last night. Our first Colombian Ambassador in his night room. Cheyenne’s roaring in the distance. Beautiful moon and stars. Memorable night. I separated the Pride momentarily into 2 groups until I double check their aggressiveness. 1 male and 2 females per group. We fed them individually in their transportation cages and then got them into their night rooms. By the way, their rooms are double the size of where they used to live. I didn’t let them out into their habitas because I wanted to observe them and didn’t want them to get lost and not sleep warm. Today I’ll let them out :) They’re skinny so we have to take it easy and not overfeed them too abruptly to avoid messing up their system. Thank you everyone that made this possible...
1:30AM y nuestro primer embajador Colombiano entró a su cuarto de noche. Los Cheyenne’s rugiendo a la distancia y una Luna y Estrellas Mágicas nos acompañaron. Separe momentáneamente a la Manada en 2 grupos de 1 macho y 2 hembras para observar agresividad. Ya los juntaré si no hay nada malo. Sus cuartos de noche son del doble de tamaño de donde vivían, estaban caminando súper felices. No los deje salir a sus habitas para que no se perdieran y durmieran calientito. Hoy los sacare. Los alimentamos y aunque están delgados, hay que acostumbrarlos a fuertes cantidades de comida. Gracias a todos los que hicieron esto posible...
