During my recovery my dear friend @ajjolivette decided to visit me. He brought a guitar along and then encouraged me to take one lesson. So thankful to AJ. I’ve always wanted to play an instrument. Growing up cleaning nightclubs they were everywhere. My parents unfortunately couldn’t afford lessons. I learned other more valuable lessons though that led me here like work ethic, team work, family values, gratitude and more. I recently also discovered how good Guitar and musical instruments in general are for the brain. I’m using it as part of my recovery and have loved it. It’s become a meditative experience. Highly recommend taking time in your Life for a hobby. Before this experience I didn’t and am so thankful for this next chapter in my life where my health (emotional,mental &physical) is more of a priority than just work and responsibilities.
