Al Kaline - being able to shake the hands of people you grew up hearing myth like stories about is one of the most humbling experiences I can think of... I just so happen to get to do that every Sunday in Detroit during the season where Mr. Kaline can be found in Baseball Chapel leading prayers, offering inspiration & plenty of solid advice. I've enjoyed many of his stories, both the ones that he tells as well as the ones told of him. Hall of Fame voting is going on right now so I saw fit that I finally post this portrait I've been sitting on for months of the 18 - time All-Star, World Chanpion & Hall of Famer himself, "Mr. Tiger".
