Happy birthday Elissa Aalto, who would have turned 95 years today! Born on 22 November 1922, Elissa started working in Alvar Aalto’s architecture office in 1949, by 1952 they were married. Elissa worked closely with Alvar and was involved in all of the office’s competition projects, but also designed textile patterns.
