THE ALADDIN SANE TOUR STARTS SATURDAY “Time, He’s waiting in the wings...” The graphic pretty much says it all. Mike Garson’s @aladdinsanetour London shows sold out, but some tickets left for other dates.
As you know, the astonishing piano on the Aladdin Sane album was played by Mike Garson, who will be revisiting those songs and lots of others he played on through many years as Bowie’s keyboard geezer.
The more than capable Gaby Moreno is handling vocal duties and both of them will enjoy the confidence of Iggy Pop’s current touring band behind them. Not to mention the Jimmy Page of woodwind, Terry Edwards, on Saxophone and guitar.
Also, look out for special guest spots from The Steves Harley and Norman at various venues.
