@tomm_britt95 Bs feeble shot by: @dan_heassler_ ? this was a few days after getting out of my last chemotherapy treatment for stage 3 Ewing Sarcoma. The only reason I'm sharing this is because of the news I received after my scans this past Thursday and this picture hypes me the hell up!! It's been a lot to take in and still seems so surreal so I apologize if you've reached out and I haven't gotten back to you! But as of February 8th after my tumor removal surgery I was pronounced NED which means there's no evidence of disease in my body, fast forward to 2 days ago anxiously waiting to be called back for my meeting w my sarcoma doctor to find out that I am STILL NED with no sign of disease or cancer in my body?? all I could do was let tears of joy roll down my face, all the pain, all the needle pokes, all the days I felt like complete shit, all the tears I cried, everything I have endured over the past 10 months was worth EVERY second of it to be able to live to see this day? looking back before I was diagnosed I was a 20 year old who took life, family and skateboarding for granted but now almost a year later I am a new redefined human who is ready for all this new chapter in my life will bring me. Cancer taught me so many things and I am truly blessed to be able to take positives away from such a negative situation.
