What sad news to hear of the passing of Monsieur Alaia. He was hands down my favorite designer. He was a master and I admired how he never followed fashions schedule—he was always in. I had the privilege of meeting him at his studio in Paris with my husband many years ago and I’ll never forget that afternoon as he fit his new creations on me—it was truly a dream. One of those creations I wore to my wedding dinner. Your designs were the ones I always wanted to wear. RIP Azzedine Alaia ❤️
