'We traveled the length of the Dead Sea Highway, which runs from Aqaba up to the westerly outskirts of Irbid. Though the highway runs the length of the country, the sea itself is located roughly in the middle of it, on the western border. We stopped at an overlook along the highway to stretch our legs and get a glimpse of the vibrant water.
