If you asked me to name a Lil’ Peep song you would probably receive a look from me like you had just asked me something in Kazakhstani. He was obviously loved and adored by many, and my ENTIRE HEART goes out to his family, friends and fans. I will keep you all in my prayers. With that said, Me being the sensitive empath and recovering heroin addict that I am, I felt compelled and could not NOT speak on the situation, pardon my double negative, I read something where his manager said something to the effect that “he felt like he had always been waiting for ‘the phone call’ “ not to be insensitive but I hope and pray as his manager he was being proactive and trying to help his man find help as opposed to simply“waiting for the call”....... BOTTOM LINE IS, DEPRESSION IS REAL AF, ADDICTION IS REAL AF and the combination of the two is a RECIPE FOR DISASTER. It literally kills me to see yet ANOTHER young and beautiful soul gone and such at young and tender age, his life was JUST beginning, it’s really time we wake the fuck up and realize that substance abuse is not a fucking fashion statement, it’s NOT CUTE, it’s not a fucking game. We are dropping like flies, FOR WHAT?!?! Because our “favorite” rappers are glorifying ‘poppin xans like rockstars’ or chanting ‘PERCOCET,MOLLY, PERCOCET’ repeatedly to the point my 4 year old niece is walking around the house talking about deadly prescription drugs in the same fashion she does Paw Patrol, Drugs that have snuffed out waaaaay to many beautiful souls. I’m sorry, this is not the time or place for me to take shots at @ポスト・マローン or @フューチャー for expressing themselves, but keep my niece in mind when your writing your next HIT or Keep Peep and the countless others who should STILL be here but aren’t because of Xanax, Percocet and Lean, KIDS ARE DYING BRO, SHIT IS NOT COOL, I love you ALL SO MUCH that it hurts sometimes, Rest well Young Gunner-?™
