Canadian Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau said on Nov. 14, 2017, that he had spoken with Myanmar's de facto leader, Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, about the human rights situation surrounding #Rohingya Muslims in her country. At a news conference in Manila, where he has been attending the ASEAN summit, he also said he had discussed human rights issues in the Philippines with President Rodrigo Duterte; Trudeau said he explicitly mentioned the extrajudicial killings that became a grim hallmark of Duterte's crackdown on drugs.
