To all of my sisters, loved ones in the WORLD and Middle East , America and the on the globe ... I have met a lot of amazing sisters of the Muslim community and most of them are looked down upon. Sometimes they even feel ashamed of their cultures due to the negative perceptions they are received by in some parts of the world... Today my sisters , I want you to raise your heads high, embrace your beautiful culture and religion and walk proud. I'm not Muslim, but I am human, and it simply hurts me to know how some people have to be mistreated because of their faith. Islam is religion of beauty and peace. Not terror and war! The word in itself means "peace"
My sisters know that today you have a beautiful Barbie doll created after you and what you have stood strong for. This is in my opinion is a moment of pride and celebration as the world has finally began seeing Muslim Hijabi woman as equal queens.
