November 11 is Remembrance Day, the day we remember those who were lost in the line of duty. For those unfamiliar, the remembrance poppy is a symbol that we wear on this day in Canada (and other commonwealth countries) inspired by the World War I poem "In Flanders Fields". Its opening lines refer to the poppies that grew amongst soldiers' graves in Flanders, a region in Belgium. Thank you to all the men and women who lost their lives so that we can live ours in freedom.
