This is from the Gospel of Thomas, found in Egypt in 1945. To me, the purest Gospel about Jesus. Here, with the fire that only an awakened one has, Jesus is saying that it doesn’t matter what good one thinks one is doing, if the ego, the idea of the I is there, then all is pointless. The word sin, etymologically speaking, means “To forget”, in this case, to forget about who we really are, our true Nature, The Infinity inside of us, and the word repent, used a lot in the Bible, has another meaning, it means “To look within”. The original Arameic word is Teshuva. If you look within, you’ll realize who you are, this is the message of all the Awakened Ones of all time. That was the message of Christ, of Krishna (The word Christ comes from the word Krishna as you can see: Christ-Krishna) and of Buddha. These three words, originally mean “The Awakened One”. If you fast thinking that you’re holier than the rest, that’s not Spirituality, that’s trade, if you pray for the sake of getting something in return instead of just being grateful for what you have, that is trade. And if you think that the important thing is what you eat and not what venom comes out of your mind, then you’re not Holier than anyone else, you’re eating Plants yet your poisoned body is transforming it into venom that you vomit all across the 4 directions of our Planet.
