Great news! ???Assemblyman @troy4nj7 won and is now a Senator in NJ! As many of you know, he is one of my heroes because he introduced the anti-declawing bill in his state! Also, Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker won and he promised to support this important cat protection bill! ?
Many of you helped me with trying to reach out to NJ candidate Donna Simon on her fb page, (Bateman, Simon & Caliguire for the 16th Dist - NJ Legislature) , and in personal messages to ask her if she is supporting our anti-declawing bill.
She never answered and in fact many of your respectful comments were deleted. ???
Well, too bad since I had a lot of followers who were ready to vote for her if she wanted to help the welfare of cats!!
Oh SNAP! ? She lost by just a few hundred votes. ?????
She's a veterinary cardiac sonographer so maybe she didn't want to answer us because she’s on the unethical side of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA) who is trying to stop our important bill to end this inhumane and harmful procedure so all their vet$ can keep performing this barbaric procedure.
I guess we will never know why she couldn't take 10 seconds out of her busy day to answer that ONE important question for us cats! #kitty #karma #dotherightthing #ohsnap #lol
