Sus pinturas celebraban sus raíces mexicanas yendo al mismo tiempo en contra del estilo contemporáneo de su época. Aguantó mucho dolor y usó su arte para expresar su vulnerabilidad y compartirla con cualquiera que quisiera verla. “At the end of the day, we can endure much more than we think we can.” #FridaKahlo is my #WCW not just for her words, but her art. Her paintings celebrated her Mexican roots while also going against the contemporary style of her day. She endured so much pain and used her art to be vulnerable and share it with anyone who was willing to see it.
