Tomorrow is Election Day. When you go to the polls, what will you vote for? I am a Health Care Voter because I believe that women’s reproductive rights and health concerns are equally as important as men’s. I believe that no one should have to comparison shop for the cheapest emergency room when they are in the middle of a health crisis, and no family should go bankrupt if a loved one gets sick. I believe that people with disabilities should not be at an economic, social or political disadvantage based on whether they were born into the right tax bracket. I believe the interests and profit margins of insurance companies should not be given higher value than the health and well-being of every member of our society. I believe that systems that enable us to take better care of each other are a worthy use of my tax dollars. I am a Health Care Voter.
