What is trawling you may ask? Its kind of like fishing but unfortunately for plastic. We use a net, lower it down into the water and drag it behind the ship for an hour. Once we pull it up we wash it through a sieve to see what types of plastic are polluting the waters. The plastic we found today should not be in the Ocean as it’s harming wildlife like turtles and fish.
