Greta Gerwig is one the best ladies there is. When we met in 2007, she was already a superstar to me for her jump-off-the-screen indie film work (and then she gave me my first ever acting job! In a web series! Having never seen me act!) and watching her totally singular career has been a joy. She's the 1950s screwball comedy queen of your dreams if that lady was also a full on poet with the filmmaking chops of Cassavetes. Her movie Lady Bird opens this weekend and I feel proud. I feel nostalgic. But mostly I feel lucky that we get to watch her art. #ladybird #greta #supportwomandirectors #supportoutrageoustalent #sisterhood
