and please go to @cornellvet And Cornell Feline Health Center’s Facebook page and ask them what did they really do with Rhoda Hogan’s 2008, $100,000 bequest that was supposed to go to ending declawing and what are they going to do with the remaining $25k (I know it’s been 10 years and they still haven’t used it) and why are they not supporting the bill in New York to ban declawing like Mrs Hogan wanted. ??? #NY

Can you imagine if they used some of her money to donate to the New York state veterinary medical Society to lobby to stop the anti-declawing bill? After all, why wouldn’t Cornell support this bill? They personally told me last year this,” We believe that declawing be considered as a last resort, and only in cases where the alternatives have failed and the cat is at risk of being euthanized or abandoned or when the health of a member of the household could be endangered by cat scratches.” ???????????#excuses
