For as long as I’ve lived in the East Village, the wall at the corner of 12th St and 2nd ave has had the most hideous mural ever. The other day, I turned the corner and it was finally repainted! There are now about five different murals in a row. This one of the mermaid is Harlow’s favorite. Mine too. The little boy on the left looks way less ominous when you can see that he’s shooting a water gun at his dad. FYI, I finally posted my guide to the East Village on my blog!
