Profoundly proud to have been at this screening of @tlotmfilm. THE LIGHT OF THE MOON is a film about the aftermath of sexual assault and i have never seen it handled with such sensitivity to the experience of the victim—and the people who love her. It is made with such grace and compassion for how complicated this issue is, and deepens a conversation that so many are having right now. @unwomen have teamed up to support the film as well and I intend to share it everywhere I can. I’m also proud of my sister who enlightened me to the knowledge of this project and graces the screen herself.
