World Heritage Centre (Unesco)  Situation: - The Cerrado is in flames since 11 days, started by a fire that did not happen via natural means. - Approximately 35 thousand hectares of preserved area of the National Park has been burned, 80% of the municipality of Cavalcante finds itself in a state of emergency, without mentioning the other many private properties that find themselves devastated. - Unprecedented Fires - Species of fauna and flora are severely threatened, risking irreversible damage.

Call to Action:

Given the magnitude of the fire and the state of public calamity, a network of support and firefighting has been formed via the unification of civil society, public and private entities, which are realizing the entire operational front of this fire combat. However, a great part of this work is still VOLUNTARY and they need our help. Only united we can save this area of environmental protection.
