Last night, #V108 cover star @ラナ・デル・レイ played her second sold-out show at NYC’s @terminal5nyc in support of her most recent record, Lust for Life. With dreamy choreography, an elaborate set of swings and palm trees, and a setlist featuring hits from all five of her albums, the show was Del Rey at her unbridled best. Cool, confident and collected in an all black number with her signature hair freshly shorn, she confessed to the crowd that playing here felt “like coming home,” and it was clear she meant it; An almost omnipresent radiant smile on her face revealed she was having just as much fun on stage as her screaming fans packed into every corner of the three-story venue. When she sang “Love,” the first single off her new album that she wrote for her fans, the audience seemed to sway as one collective body—a vivid testament to the power of music in 2017 (which was the predominant topic of conversation in Del Rey’s cover story with Stevie Nicks).
