A couple more things I want to say about our friend @uprock78 who left us ... first thank you for always treating me as an equal even though you surfed and I boogied ... this showed what a genuine person you are and weren’t influenced by the bullshit ... also thank you for being one of the first surfers who were down to shoot with me even though the #GoPro I shot with was perceived as a toy and sort of a joke back then ... this showed me your open mindedness and that you were down for your friends no matter what ... most importantly thank you for simply being my friend ... we will miss you and I know you’re in a place far better than this and that you and Mom and all the other beautiful people we’ve lost are looking down on us wishing we were with you the same way we wish you all were still here with us ... Glad I have photos like these to remember the good times we shared until we see each other again ❤️
