What a whirlwind of a week ? Sometimes people just sit in their homes, looking at the leaderboard of golf events and see the results, but it's so much more that goes in to those numbers that pop up on the computer screen. Last Tuesday morning I woke up in Venice, Florida (I was there to see my coach for a few days) and it turned out I was first alternate for our event in Taiwan that started two days later. After debating if I should take the gamble and head to Taipei, I packed my bags, drove the 2.5hrs home, packed a bigger bag, drove to the airport and caught a flight to Taipei. Landed at 4:45am Thursday morning, got to the golf course at 6:00am and 30min later got the memo that one player had withdrawn and that I was officially in the field. My tee time was 8:15am. So after a 24hr trip, I headed straight to the tee! After a pretty solid 4 days considering the circumstances I ended up tied for 40th and I'm now after another 24hr trip sitting in my home in Orlando again? Thank you @swingingskirts for a great event and thank you to everyone on site that helped me when I was running around trying to find a caddy, yardage book, etc! I'm very happy my little gamble worked out ??
