Hi Amigos, most of you know Project ALS is near and dear to my heart. We just lost the great Sam Shepherd to this affliction, which I can assure you is on the ropes: Recently an FDA approved drug for cancer has shown promising signs of effectiveness in Core models of ALS. Project ALS is working with industry and scientists at the Core to maximize the benefits of this--and other drugs and delivering to ALS patients.
If you are in NYC and can make the benefit this Wednesday, it will be a lot of fun. If not, and you can help out in anyway it would be much appreciated.
