The next time you want to say how pretty you think a young girl is stop and ask her what she's interested in. The next time you comment to a young boy that he's tall or fast or make mention of the fact that you think he's shy -perhaps stop yourself and see him instead . These sons and daughters of ours are breaking some old ways. Manners are lovely but discernment and honoring ones self as one is discovering self is truly important. We want compassion of course
We want kindness too
But first knowing who you are away from others opinions -judgements -voices is key .
