Today's post comes from Cole Carr, a student at Portland State University. “Glaciers are more than indicators of climate change; they are frozen reservoirs of precious freshwater that is essential for drinking water, as well as sustaining local agriculture and outdoor recreation. Profit always seems to come before climate. Putting a price on carbon emissions would give the greedy a taste of how much it really costs to alter the climate and reduce our natural resources.
