Will and determination helped @mardiniysra survive when she was forced to flee her home in Syria. When Yusra and over a dozen other refugees tried to escape to Greece in a small boat that was supposed to hold only 6 people, the motor stopped working and the boat took on water. Along with a few others, she paddled the boat for over 3 hours until it reached safety. A year later, she was competing at the Rio Olympics as a member of the Refugee Olympic Team.
