It’s been 18 days since the deadliest mass shooting in American history. 18 days. Conversation has already stopped. Let’s not make gun control a trend, that goes away and comes back when more lives are lost and when it’s fuckin “cool” to send out our “thoughts and prayers”. Now is the time to do the work. Go to @everytown and see what you can do to speak to your representatives and make a difference. You can also see if your representative is getting paid by the NRA. And if they are, YOU have the power, make sure they don’t get elected again!Gun violence doesn’t only take away lives, it takes away a peace of mind from everyone. Movies, concerts, night clubs, SCHOOLS. When will this stop? I wear an orange flag to remember those we’ve lost, and as a promise to do what I can, with the platform I have to end this.
