Had such a great time at the Turtle Farm yesterday in Grand Cayman Island. Yes they do eat turtle meat in the Caribbean but they also raise and nurse thousands of baby turtles that they release into the wild every November. They’ve released 34,000 so far! I wanted to save them all! The keep the old ones for breeding and they consume the 6 year olds. In the wild only about 1% if baby turtles make it until adulthood! ?????????????? #SoCute #ICouldNeverEatThemTho Also some were over 350 lbs!
