ACCEPTANCE • If your partner's parenting style differs from yours, it can be very difficult to accept. However, it's important to remember that as long as you have the same parenting goals, the nuances of parenting SHOULD differ from one parent to another. We do not do our children any favors by only exposing them to one style or type of person. Once you can agree and accept that you both will tackle situations differently, all the while keeping your larger parenting goals in mind, you are giving your children an opportunity to adapt to different types of people.
