Spreading a little sunshine, during these challenging times. Recently, the @rams took some time off the field during their monthly Day of Service to help with the beautifying of the newly renamed Warren Lane Academy of the Arts, my @turnaroundartsca school. The project includes murals highlighting music, dance and academics. I was surprised to learn that one of the murals also includes a quote from me! Here, at Warren Lane Academy of the Arts, arts are part of the day to day curriculum. It's begins in pre-kindergarten, where the students begin to play instruments and continues on through the 6th grade. It has been such an honor and a pleasure to be working with these students and partnering with #turnaroundarts. Being included in one of the the mural is just the icing on the cake. Thank you.
