This week I’ll be taking over @discoverychannel Insta account to post photos from my life working as a commercial fisherman in the Bering Sea and Bristol Bay, Alaska. After many years crabbing aboard the f/v Rollo, I now run a setnet operation chasing sockeye salmon in Bristol Bay and spend months in the off season documenting life in this very surreal world called the Aleutian Islands. Here, a Bering Sea crab boat leaves the relative safety of Dutch Harbor heading North East to the Opilio crab grounds in February.
