According to Eva's mother Marlène Jobert, between 2010-2011, Eva was a victim of sexual harassment by Harvey Weinstein. Mr. Weinstein harassed Eva for months by constantly calling her and inviting her to meet up in his "office" or more commonly known as his hotel suite - from which Eva escaped. Mr. Weinstein was very persistent and would especially call Eva whenever he's in Paris. Eva would never respond to him because he intimidates her. She's scared of him and the power that he wields. As a result of her rejecting him, Mr. Weinstein threatened to ruin Eva's professional career. When Eva first told Marlène, Marlène was furious and wanted to do something about it but Eva stopped her because of fear. It has taken Eva some time to get over her experience and still refuses to talk about it. She'd like to forget about it.
