Aloha everybody! It's me, Tau (@instaugram), here for today's #TakeoverTuesday series with Hawaiian Airlines. I'm grateful to say that I'm currently on my 10th wonderful year of flying for @ハワイアン航空 as a flight attendant.
Born & raised on O’ahu, I also spent much of my life in Tahiti where my mother is from. A Kamehameha Schools graduate, I began my journey as a hula dancer at the age of 15. Exposure to both hula and the Hawaiian culture have played a major role in my life. Dancing professionally has also enabled me to travel the world like New York, Japan, and New Zealand just to name a few. Hawaiian Airlines is a big sponsor to the biggest hula competition in the world, Merrie Monarch. I've competed many years in that competition, which is the equivalent to the Olympics of the hula world. I am a student of a halau (hula troop) named, Ka Leo O Laka I Ka Hikina O Ka La, and humbly proud to mention we've won awards. My dancing journey can be followed on @arii_hula.
