This week’s #rolemodelmonday is Ashley Reel, a 15-year-old girl who began a homecoming dress drive in Texas immediately after the deadly storm hit. Her original goal of 50 dresses turned into over 2,000 dresses!!! She is now hosting a “Say Yes To The Dress" homecoming event at a local business, which will be open to young girls who were affected by Harvey as well as those having financial difficulties. Although Ashley's house was not damaged by Harvey, she thought "it wasn't really fair for [her classmates and friends] to not be able to go to homecoming because of the flooding, so I thought it would be something nice to do for them." Ashley, your generosity and desire to help others is so admirable!!!
