Remembering Norick Abe, 10 years on. // Throwback to the 1994 #JapaneseGP where Norifumi stunned the Grand Prix paddock with a sensational debut, running up in winning contention until 3 laps to go where he crashed out (fortunately unhurt). He went on to take 3 wins and many podiums in total during his 500cc/#MotoGP career that lasted 10 years. He was tragically killed in a road traffic accident in 2007. He was 32 years old at the time.
