"Frogmore House and Garden holds a special place in my family's affection" – The Queen

Listen to a special message from Her Majesty The Queen that was broadcast on Gardeners' Question Time, recorded at Frogmore House in Windsor Great Park.

Frogmore was bought in 1792 by Queen Charlotte, consort of George III, and has remained a cherished Royal Retreat ever since.

The Queen granted the horticultural radio programme special access to the house and gardens as part of Gardeners' Question Time's 70th anniversary – a date shared by The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, who mark 70 years of marriage in November.
