Q: Hi Ceci! How do we as young women break into the business and garner a reputation like you have? What can we do to set ourselves apart from an overly saturated market? With love from Charlotte, NC ?
A: Hi Caroline, first thank you for your compliments. I'm flattered. Honestly, I feel like I'm just a passionate girl working really hard to accomplish my dreams just like the rest of us. But to answer your question, a great reputation isn't something that you can just create overnight. It's something that's built overtime and I've personally worked on since day 1 of launching my business (which is nearly 14 years ago!) I believe that every client is an opportunity to do something amazing and we always approach each project with giving it our all. No matter what budget I'm working with, I try to make the most of every dollar I get to create the most amazing designs possible for my clients. Treat every client with respect and professionalism and give them an amazing memorable design experience that they will hopefully share with others. Always go the extra mile and never settle. .
To stand out, I believe the key is to truly offer something different and put your own unique spin on your work. Know what your brand stands for and always deliver on that. Consistency is super important for always sending the same brand message. Hope that helps. Best of luck! ✨
