Thank you @northwesternu for giving me the opportunity to share today with you. It was so special meeting with you and celebrate #latinx Heritage month! Honoring our ancestors and those who have paved the way for us. Never forget what makes us so unique and crucial to the healing of our nation: Family, Love, and Resistance. It is up to us to continue this work through service. Educating ourselves and our communities and making sure we are laying down the groundwork for future generations. In the midst of all this madness and what seems like a never ending nightmare; natural and unnatural disasters, and a psychopath sitting in the highest seat of office. I encourage you to be resilient and hopeful. Keep working hard, love yourself and others, care as much as you want, be innovative, ask why? always, know your rights, know your history, organize together, remember your civic duty (vote), know you can reach out for help, be patient, remember one day at a time. Don't stop the hustle until we are all comfortable together.
