?Came home to the painful news about the loss of life in Las Vegas. It became even more personal to find out that 2 of the victims were based here in Manhattan Beach. One, Sandy Casey, a Special Education teacher in my kids district and the other, Rachael Parker, worked with the MBPD. .
Our community has decided to come together tomorrow evening Oct. 4th at 6:30 pm at the Manhattan Beach Pier for a candle light vigil. We will remember Sandy Casey, Rachael Parker and all of the victims from Sunday nights horrible attack. This will be a moment to go offline and come together in person. To hug, to cry, to just talk with each other. My family and I will be there and we hope you can too. ??
